Student success in Buena Vista is recognized and celebrated for achievement that encompasses academics, service, healthy living, innovation, connectedness with peers and such life skills as goal-setting, decision-making, responsibility, and problem-solving. BVSD Indicators of Student Success defines this balanced, whole-student concept of success that is embraced in the district.

A variety of measures are used to monitor this success. As part of both Federal and State Accountability systems for school districts, BVSD closely monitors the academic growth and achievement of our students.
