Due to the predicted overnight snow accumulations and to allow time for collaborative contact tracing with Chaffee County COVID response team, Monday, October 26 will be a snow day for the Buena Vista School District. All schools will be closed and no remote learning will take place. We expect a return to in-person learning for all schools on Tuesday, October 27. The weekly update will be delivered on Monday morning and the District Zoom meeting will occur at its regular 5:00 pm time. Additional alerts will be provided tomorrow as needed. Again, Monday, October 26 is a snow day for all Buena Vista Schools.

BV Middle School Families: FREE lunch will continue to be served during remote learning. Pick up in front of the school between 11:45-12:30 pm. If transportation is a barrier, please contact Mrs. Dey and she will take information so we can work together.

Buena Vista Middle School will shift to remote learning from September 23-30. Information will follow from middle school teachers. Buena Vista High School will return to in-person learning on Wednesday, September 23.

All Buena Vista Middle and High School students should remain at home on Tuesday, September 22. All students should join 1st period through Google Classroom. More information will be delivered to families later on Tuesday.

Due to road conditions, Wednesday, September 9 will be a late start for all Buena Vista Schools. All buses and start times will be two hours later. Morning preschool is canceled. Dismissal remains the same. Again, all schools in the Buena Vista School District will be on a late start, 10:00 am with buses picking up two hours later on Wednesday, September 9.
